Assessment & Development Centres

I have experience of designing, co-ordinating and facilitating assessment and development centres. More recently I have worked as an associate observer on a number of assignments.

The most effective assessment and development centres are designed to represent a ‘day in the life of’ – using a range of activities that are specifically designed to represent the organisations working practices, supported with a range of profiling tools and if appropriate 360 degree feedback provides a strong platform for aligning leadership development with corporate strategy.

Assessment and development centres are linked to performance improvement and can be used to support:

  • recruitment and selection

  • succession planning

  • identifying leaders of the future

  • talent development

  • mergers and acquisitions

  • change management programmes
